About Me

Melody in Motion porcelain figurines provide an aesthetic and joyful addition to any environment.  Each Melody in Motion has been meticulously crafted and hand painted producing a unique look for each piece. By combining porcelain, pieces of metal and music, Waco Products created not just a figurine but a collectible that can be handed down through generations.

It was in 1987 that I bought my first Melody in Motion and gave it as a gift to my father. He enjoyed it so much in fact that we continued to give different pieces to him as gifts for various occasions.  Soon thereafter, in 1993, I began my very own collection of Melody in Motions starting with my first piece – Wild West Willie that played the tune “Back in the Saddle Again.”

For the next 15 years my father and I had a sort of gentlemen’s competition going to see who could collect the most Melody in Motion pieces. When my father passed away in 2009 I inherited all of the Melody in Motions he acquired over that 15 year period.  This pushed my collection to well over 1,000 pieces.

Final production of Melody in Motions occurred in 2007 unfortunately. This has created a large demand for many of the more rare pieces making some near impossible to find, especially in good, working condition.

Realizing this and knowing that I had such a large collection, I decided that these beautiful works of art should be enjoyed by all and be displayed on bookshelves and in curio cabinets of others rather than in boxes.  It was at this point I began to catalog my pieces to bring you the vast assortment of Melody in Motions that you see here on my website. I inspect each piece to ensure that what I list for sale is accurately represented and in good working condition prior to posting it for sale.

I should also note, that Wild West Willie still sits prominently above the fireplace in my home today providing joy to not only me but also my children and grandchildren. I hope you get as much pleasure out of your collection as I have through the years.  Thank you for stopping by!
